Emotions are complex psychological states that involve three distinct components:

 •   A subjective experience

•   A physiological response

•   A behavioural or expressive response

Emotions motivate us to act, influence our decision-making, play a vital role in interpersonal communication and help us to survive.

Emotional wellbeing influences our overall wellbeing; it’s the primary driver of all beneficial changes in our brain and in all other parameters of health. The quality of our emotional health impacts significantly on many other aspects of our wellbeing and behaviour, including:

•   Quality of conscious thought

•   Feelings of innate energy

•   Our outlook day-to-day

•   Concentration and focus

•   Processing speed

•   Memory encoding and recall

•   Decision making

•   Quality and quantity of sleep

•   Digestive efficiency

•   Endocrine communication

•   Overall growth and recovery/repair

      Hi, It’s a 90 minute class on a Tuesday evening that combines support for weight loss, measurements (if you wish), nutrition and mindset, followed by a 45minute exercise class. Here’s a copy of the class description:
      This programme is aimed at people who would like to improve their health and lose weight, but are unsure of how to take that first step or would like support on their journey. The programme will educate, inform, motivate and encourage people to adopt healthier eating habits that are sustainable. There will be no “faddy diets”, just sensible and achievable advice on eating more healthily and incorporating physical activity into everyday life.
